So we all know that Nutrition and Movement go hand in hand and it is a BALANCE! I started thinking more and more about my nutrition after I had my third child who I breastfed and she started to have acid reflux. This was the first time that I really thought about how what I eat can influence how I feel and better yet how my baby feels!
It opened a whole new world for me as I started to learn more about preparing foods that made me feel better by attending cooking classes, purchasing new cookbooks, and even becoming a part of a meal prep plan team.
Although I am still learning and practicing every day. I learned that there are so many resources to help us all with learning what works best for our bodies. I also learned that food doesn't have to be associated with weight loss. NOT AT ALL. Weight Loss can come with it but when I focused on the weight loss part I just didn't like it. It really helped me to pay more attention to what works best to give me more energy, to feel less bloated, and to just feel good.
Here are some of the books and resources that helped me get started on looking at my nutrition through a different lens! Feel free to comment and send any questions. I also cannot wait to share an upcoming blog on Nutrition Counseling & Farmer's Markets soon!
